Natural Starter - Day 1

Today is the first day of the Natural Starter short film shoot. It’s kinda nerve wrecking doing a short film project in the midst of the pandemic. But it’s been a year without a serious film project, so we needed this.

And with the new Canon C70 at hand, it was smooth sailing. Well kinda. Aside from the great performances from the actors and great work with audio and production assistants, there were a few hurdles that we couldn't avoid. Like the surprise visit from the exterminators which delayed our shoot for about 30 minutes. And then there were occasions where David got in trouble for almost burning the place down. Yeah, regular stuff that happens on set.

But regardless, it was fun getting back on set and working on passion project. It was great to meet the main cast in person. They were all so professional and chill. Can’t wait to finish this project and work with them on to something more fun.
