Kamikazee rose to mainstream success in the Philippines during the early 2000s with the chart topping hits like Chiksilog, Narda and Seksi-Seksi. Their unique blend of modern rock, pop-punk, and NU-Metal made them favorites in the Filipino rock scene among other bands like Parokya Ni Edgar and River Maya.
