Girard at Diablo Hells Ink event in Inked NYC

As of late, I started to get various tattoos on my arm because I wanted a tattoo arm sleeve that consist of cool art from great artist with a theme that I like. To my surprise, Blizzard’s Diablo game is having a promotion that’s creatively called Diablo Hells Ink where they are giving FREE Diablo theme flash tattoo! I am a Diablo game fanatic and I just started getting back into tattoos so I needed to be there. They were touring across the US from LA to Chicago to NYC to Miami. The NYC event was held at the popular Inked NYC Tattoo Shop on July 30th, starting at 10am. I got on the line at 2pm and there was already a long line that’s almost half a block

I was a bit disappointed of the design choices. It was very basic. Unlike the more elaborate designs in the Chicago event, there was only black and white, and many outline designs. So I just picked a basic dagger icon design…. which I waited for 4 hours. At least they provided good pizza, water and snacks.

My tattoo artist was Tom Tapit and his work is pretty good. Unfortunately, he only got to tattoo a basic dagger design which took about 20 minutes.

You could barely see the dagger tattoo. Can you find it? It’s actually next to my skull tattoo.

After the tattoo session, they gave me a card stating that I will get an invite to the Diablo 4 beta as well as the FULL PS5 game when it comes out. So I think it was worth it for the free stuff and the small tattoo.
